There are very few people that you know that aren't on Facebook. We “friend” people that aren't friends and “like” pages just for the heck of it. Most people spend their time thumbing through groups and comments posted by unhappy people with a sudden surge of confidence that they normally wouldn't have when speaking face to face. Whether you choose to engage in the negativity or block it out, there is something that none of you should ever do …. do NOT FRIEND a business page.

George Johnson is at it again

Last night, Ellen Babbit, who works for George Johnson, told me that “we” had a problem because George didn't want me at the Oasis Golf Club. Last night was the monthly San Tan Valley Republican Club meeting, which is held at the Oasis, of which I am a paid member.

Chamber Resignation

There seems to be quite a bit of confusion about something that happened last week. The confusion circles around my recent departure from the San Tan Valley Chamber of Commerce. I am not going to write much about it today, since it's late and I still have a lot of work to do, but I wanted to at least open the door for upcoming conversation.

Happy Mother's Day!

Woke up about 5am to a quiet house. Got to enjoy a few hours working on my blog, cleaning up a bit and enjoying the cool morning air. It was perfect! Then my family started to wake up one by one. Big hugs and kisses with Happy Mother's Day wishes.

My 2 Cents

Wow! Cannot believe that I have just created my very first blog! Super excited but totally nervous too. You see, I have spent the last 8 years biting my tongue, being politically correct, sitting on the fence, whatever the heck you want to call it and as a result have been "restricted" from having an opinion or speaking my mind.
